WordPress Engineer

We are looking for a talented and experienced Lead WordPress Engineer to join our dynamic team. As the Lead WordPress Engineer, you will be responsible for leading a team of developers to deliver high-quality WordPress websites and applications. You will work closely with our project managers, designers, and other engineers to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest possible standards.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a team of WordPress developers to ensure high-quality work and adherence to project timelines.
• Develop and maintain WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conduct regular code reviews and ensure that all code adheres to established coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with other engineers, project managers, and designers to ensure all projects are delivered on time and within budget.
• Manage the deployment of WordPress sites and applications to hosting environments.
• Provide technical guidance and support to clients and stakeholders.

Requirements:

• At least 5 years of experience as a WordPress developer, with proven experience leading teams of developers.
• In-depth knowledge of WordPress, including WordPress theme and plugin development.
• Strong understanding of PHP, MySQL, and JavaScript.
• Experience working with Git, version control, and continuous integration tools.
• Experience working with modern web development technologies and frameworks, such as React or Vue.js.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
